Preparing the spaceship for their upcoming sparring session was no easy task - eventually, however, after having pushed all of the furniture aside and into separate rooms, the two travellers found enough room to spread the gym mat Rhomi had picked up for the occasion. Immediately after retrieving his Soul Stealer and strapping the vibroblade onto his back, Hikari stepped onto the soon-to-be battlefield, his arms folded.
While he's sparred for leisure and training plenty of times before, be it in the Vanguard Youth or under OSTWUD's tutelage, this match was going to be somewhat different. After all, they are on a spaceship which, to Vessels of their tier, would be about as fragile as cardboard. On Bastion training grounds or inside reinforced sparring quarters aboard the Dawnstar, you're able to let yourself loose more, but here... they'll need to be as concerned about not blowing out a hole in the ship's hole as they'll need to be about their opponent's moves.
Hikari could not make any concrete conclusions before the match even began, but he figured these conditions would favor him over Rhomi. After all, out of the two of them, her powers were a lot more... flashy. Whereas he just needs to make sure he doesn't get thrown to a wall too hard.
"So..." Hikari opened up as he raised his hand towards the handle of the Soul Stealer over his shoulder, ready to draw at any moment. His mind recalled the events on Loth, the last time when the two of them could see each other in battle, even if against a common foe - and the observations he made during them. "Should I go at this assuming you've managed to figure out Soul Fusion by now?"
